We Need Your Support

Medical Cannabis Therapeutics is an emerging field with limited academic infrastructure and few dedicated funding pathways. This program was created to help fill that gap—and your support helps it grow

Most colleges and universities do not offer formal programs in Medical Cannabis Therapeutics, and those that do often lack scholarship opportunities, research funding, or clinical pathways for students and practitioners. This leaves a critical gap in care, education, and innovation, especially in communities most affected by trauma and chronic conditions.

That’s what prompted Najma Cade and Jaynene Mercer to start this nonprofit organization:

A way to give back to their alma mater, Morehouse School of Medicine, and build the infrastructure that academic institutions have yet to provide.

This program is newly developed at very few colleges and universities, and your support helps us:

  • Fund original research in trauma-responsive cannabinoid therapeutics
  • Support students, clinicians, and educators working in this emerging field
  • Create curriculum, prescribing protocols, and digital tools for scalable care
  • Expand access to therapeutic systems rooted in science and lived experience

We’re not building on models; we’re building models. It’s hard, fast work, and we are very underfunded. It’s work that changes everything. Donate today and help us grow the program that’s reimagining care, science, and access.
